Our Story

"It' not fair that Adults get to do something to fight against cancer and me and my friends can't"  Ethan Sandlofer, age 6.

E's Battle Buddies is a movement created by now 10 year old, Ethan Sandlofer.  Showing that Little Kids Can Do Big Things by raising over $370,000 dedicated to rare cancer research.

Ethan was only 2 years old when he lost his mother, Gaby, to an extremely rare cancer called Angiosarcoma.  Turning a devastating situation into something incredible, Ethan created a crusade to save lives, help families fighting cancer and to promote healthy lifestyles.

Our KIDS ONLY events provide high energy, interactive activities, such as indoor cycling and obstacle runs, while raising money and awareness for lifesaving rare cancer research. At the same time teaching kids the importance of giving back.

During our events kids from 6-18 years old have the opportunity to register, raise money and battle to defeat rare cancer!

Fifty percent of all cancer patients are fighting a rare cancer.  Rare cancers include all types of pediatric cancers, brain, pancreatic, ovarian, stomach, sarcomas and many others. Research on rare cancers is drastically underfunded and leaves patients with limited or no treatment options. E's Battle Buddies is committed to changing that reality.

E's Battle Buddies goal is to have researchers from around the country collaborate and lead the way in developing new ways to diagnose and treat cancer. Whether it's for research, clinical trials, travel expenses for cancer patients and their families or purchasing prosthetics for amputees due to cancer, E's Battle Buddies is committed to create a better quality of life for people fighting the battle.

E's Battle Buddies is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity (tax ID# 81-1681101)
